Inspired by historic surroundings, I have been continually fascinated with the Wars of the Roses. I am turning this fascination into a novel at the same time that Richard III is finally laid to rest in my hometown of Leicester.

Welcome
Hello and welcome to Loyalty Binds Me. I have always wanted to write about the Wars of the Roses and felt now would be the time to write a novel with Richard III being re-interred in my hometown of Leicester. I will discuss here the key events of the 'Cousins War', the historic laying to rest of the Last Plantagenet and the joys and tribulations of writing my first novel.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI really have no information for you. My main research interest is my American nineteenth century (old west) ancestor bad man Jefferson Randolph "Soapy" Smith (https://soapysmiths.blogspot.com/). I knew that my uncle had aligned further ancestors to the War of the Roses but in the 1960s-70s he found no real information. Last year a researcher of the War of the Roses found me! I have spent 30 years on "Soapy" and am just now getting into the rest of my history. Just wanted to say hello, and that I will enjoy looking through your blog.
